I am a dedicated educator who is passionate about biology. I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biology from James Madison University. I received my teaching license from Shenandoah University. During graduate school, I focused on microbiology, specifically, Cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms. During my graduate studies, I developed a deep understanding of the complexities of biological sciences and how to explain them in the classroom. This is my first year teaching. I am passionate about fostering a love for biology in students and strive to make learning engaging and accessible for everyone. In addition to teaching, I stay active in the school community by assisting with the wrestling team and serving as the freshman class sponsor.
