I grew up in NE Pennsylvania, where I received a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Scranton in 2004. After working in the market research industry for several years, I decided to go back to school to get my master's degree in math education from East Stroudsburg University in 2008. Since then I have been able to teach all levels of math in a wide variety of places. I am excited about beginning my journey here at Handley, teaching Geometry and Algebra 1. When I am not teaching, I try to be outside as much as possible. I like to hike and camp when it's warm outside, and during the colder months, I try to get in as many days snowboarding as I can.
