After culminating a career of 23 years on active duty in the U.S Marines as an Information Systems Technician,  followed by a 4-year stint as an Information Technology contractor for the U.S Navy, I decided to take the leap, and teach.  My military tenure allowed me to acquire special expertise not only in the IT area, but also as a leader and mentor.
 
Coming up with out-of-the-box solutions for challenging issues in the ever-morphing global IT community, were part of my day-to-day, and I believe this will serve my students well.  I've been married to my wonderful wife Lulu for 24 years, and we have four children: Michael, Lucia, Sasha, and Angelica.  I enjoy marksmanship, spending time with my friends and family, and exercising.
