Mr. Andrew Dudley

Hello! My name is Andrew Dudley. After graduating from WVU in 2006, I made the decision to go into substitute teaching with Winchester Public Schools as well as Frederick County Public Schools. After two years of subbing, I began my career in Special Education as a teaching assistant in 2008 at John Handley High School. During my time as a teaching assistant, I made the decision to work towards my Masters in Special Education at Shenandoah University, and was hired as a teacher in 2012. Since then, I have taught 10 years as a high school special education teacher and one year as an elementary special education teacher for Frederick County Public Schools. I took a year off from teaching and worked as a baker. While baking continues to be something I enjoy, I knew that I needed to return to the classroom and was fortunate enough to be able to return to where it all began! When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and my family, reading, antique shopping, cooking, baking and working in my yard. I am very excited about returning to Winchester Public Schools this year, and having the opportunity to meet new people and reunite with old friends and colleagues.
