I was born and raised in Fayetteville/Fort Bragg, North Carolina and I come from a large Army family. I married my husband in 2021 and moved to Winchester, Virginia the summer of 2022 when he received orders to work here. I graduated from UNC at Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor's in History and a minor in Sociology. I also have a background in Special Education after working as an Applied Behavior Analysis Tech for 2 years before I became a teacher. I will be receiving my licensure from Shenanndoah University in Special Education as well as Secondary Social Studies. In my free time, I enjoy exploring historical sights in Virginia as well as training and competing in powerlifting.
