The district utilizes an Internet content filter that is in compliance with the federally mandated Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA). All Chromebooks, regardless of physical location (in or out of school), will have all Internet activity protected and monitored by the district. While WPS uses these technology protection measures to limit access to material considered harmful or inappropriate to students, it may not be possible for the school division to absolutely prevent such access, and the Parent/Guardian should supervise the Student’s use of the device when used outside of School.
