Hello there.  As you may have surmised, I'm Danny Westendorff, and I teach 6th grade Math at DMIS.  I was born in North Carolina to an Air Force family, so I jumped around various homes/states/countries before settling down in Winchester in '98.  From there, Winchester has become my home and I graduated from James Wood High School in 2008 (participated in the Theater program and Swim Team).  I got my Bachelor's Degree in English from George Mason University in 2012 and then got my Master's degree in Education in 2016.   I've been teaching since 2017, focusing largely on math, but also providing support in English and Science (jack of several trades).  

I love animals (especially dogs and rats) and have a metaphorical suitcase full of random facts gleaned from nature documentaries over the years.  I also enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing games (tabletop and otherwise).
