• 5th Grade Varsity Math Team
    The group meets on Monday with head coach Dr. Reames and his trusty assistant Mr. Cornish in room 14.  The Math Club is an enrichment program that focuses on having fun with mathematics and learning.  His efforts have resulted in a customized set of materials that prepares the math student for the rigors of the Math Olympiad contests at the elementary school and middle school levels.

  • Aevidum Club
    5th Grade Aevidum Club meets on Wednesday's each week. Aevidum is a word that means "I've got your back". It is a club where students can become advocates for each other and their school. Students in Aevidum would meet every Wednesday and share ideas on how to better support each other and help 5th Graders be their best. They get to decide how they can help each other by coming up with a plan to help fellow classmates and the school. Aevidum members will let their actions to help others feel accepted, appreciated, acknowledged, and cared for be their focus.

  • Anime & Manga
    The group meets on Mondays to enjoy classic anime and drawing join Mrs. Robertson and friends.  The word anime — pronounced "ah-knee-may" — is an abbreviation of the word animation. In Japan, the word is used to refer to all animation. However, outside of Japan, it has become the catch-all term for animation from Japan.

  • Book Buddies
    Explore new worlds...have fun adventures...do fun activities with the Book Buddies book club in room 72 .Tuesday, November 14th is Historical Fiction day. We will be dressing like people from the past and going back in time; in books! Tuesday, November 28th, explore realistic fiction and nonfiction books about sports. Dress in your favorite sports wear! Mrs. Van Alsburg is looking forward to seeing you.

    Miss Sabal meets on Mondays to teach effective climbing strategies and skills along with safe climbing procedures. Due to an overwhelming demand we are limited to alternating weeks 5th Grade 11-13 & 11-27 with 6th Grade 11-6 & 11-20.

    Coloring Club is about expressing creativity, being social, meeting new people, creating community, and breaking away from the mundane. Participants can bring their own coloring books, pages, pencils and markers, etc. Join Mrs. McNelis on Mondays.

    5th & 6th Grade students can stay after school daily to participate in some socialization and use the computer to explore the world wide web. Students are encouraged to bring their own individual headphones.

  • Dance For Fun
    This group meets on Thursdays in Room 76 with Mrs. Estevan and Mrs. Mammano. The group's  purpose is to cultivate the interest of students in dance by creating a friendly community, and to motivate and improve each individual's dancing ability.

    This group meets with Mr. Harasyn on Wednesdays and discusses topics that influence today’s youth and is usually followed by some good natured competition.

    The group meets on Wednesdays  with head coach Dr. Reames in room 14.  This is an excellent resource to get extra support to help build fluency in math and self confidence to excel. Please sign up on Dr. Reames door because space is limited.

  • Origami Turkeys
    Join Mrs. Nine in room 10 for the month in November on Wednesdays. The group serves to promotes a sense of community through the traditional discipline of origami. Members are encouraged to freely display their creations.

    5th & 6th Grade students can get active on Thursdays. Scholars are able to play soccer, basketball, soccer, four square, and other classic playground games. Join Mr. Hernandez and Mrs. Brown.

    Join Mrs. Stamberg on 11/2 &  11/16 to use it or lose it! Run club promotes the love of nature and running. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle.

    The mission of the Samurai of Strategy is to create a community that uses board games as a means to gather, and exercise creativity and problem solving, while competing or working together. Join Mr. Mills in the cafeteria on Mondays to join.

  • Yu-Gi-Oh / Pokemon
    Join Ms. Crowe in room 95 on Tuesdays and Thursdays to battle. Pokemon is a role-playing game involving cards which represent creatures with different powers and abilities. Players of all ages and skill levels can compete together in tournaments to make new friends, see new cards and show off their best strategies. There's no better way to experience the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME than to compete in this club  and Duel with your friends.
