Principal's Message
-
Dear Daniel Morgan Intermediate Families and Friends,
Welcome to the Home of the Generals, where we always "Rise to the Challenge!" The faculty and staff of Daniel Morgan are committed to providing a dynamic, supportive, and diverse learning environment where we develop a community of learners with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to believe in what they can achieve.
At DMIS, your student's education and success is the heartbeat of our day. Each day when your student walks in the door or logs in virtually, we strive to provide the best educational experience possible. In addition, we want your student to be safe and cared for. We, as a staff, recognize the responsibility we have to make positive impacts on the lives of your child. We are so glad your learner is a member of our school family. Instructionally at DMIS, we continuously monitor your student's success. Our faculty and staff work with administration to review data, make instructional adjustments, and share what is working during grade level planning and PLC meetings, where we operate as a Professional Learning Community.
It is my honor and my pleasure to serve as Principal at Daniel Morgan Intermediate School. Please feel welcome to contact us at 540-667-7171, email us, or come by our school for a visit!
Sincerely,
Laura Evy
