Having moved around as a military child, I finished high school and graduated from Frederick County Schools and have lived in Stephens City since. I have had the privilege of teaching various elementary grades with experience teaching a variety of subjects. In addition to my teaching experience, I am fluent in Spanish and have had the opportunity to utilize my language skills in interpreting in a variety of settings. It brings me joy to support a diverse community and help bridge the gap between languages. 

Furthermore, I have experience in family business where I ran a local restaurant and hotel alongside my grandfather for many years.  This experience has provided me with valuable skills that I bring into the classroom and life. I believe in teaching my students real-life application of their knowledge, helping them understand how their education can benefit them in the future.

I am passionate about providing a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for my students.  I am dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported. I believe that education is a partnership between the teacher, student, and parents, and I strive to foster open communication with all.
