Hi!! My name is Darienn Gore and I am a 5/6th grade SPED teacher at DMIS! I received my Masters Degree in Special Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014 and have been teaching ever since! I spent 4 years teaching high school Math and History for Richmond City. In 2018 I transferred to Fairfax Country and continued to teach Math at the secondary level. In 2019, I made a huge change and moved to Budapest, Hungary and worked at Budapest British International School for 3 years as a teacher and Special Education Coordinator. In Budapest, I taught a variety of subjects at the 5th and 6th grade level and fell absolutely in love with the age group. Also, during my time abroad, I met my  husband and we recently moved to the area (with our dog Bobby).I am so excited to be working at Daniel Morgan Intermediate School, and plan to use my experiences and background to help make the school year great!
