Hello and welcome to 6th grade math!

I am originally from Pennsylvania, but I moved down to Virginia and began teaching in Shenandoah County many years before starting at DMIS. I have been teaching since 2007, across all levels of middle school and Algebra 1! I moved to the area when I met my husband, who is a product of Winchester Public Schools. I love learning about the community and I love to be working in the community where I live. 

I have a great family in my son and my dog. I love everything Disney, sports, music and musical theater (I used to be a drama coach!), and spending time with my family. I also like to run and hike, especially in the beauty this area has to offer. I am excited to share my love of learning and love of math with you. I look forward to getting to know more about all of you this year!
