Work-Related Injury or Illness
As a WPS employee, if you are injured on the job or have sustained an occupational illness, you may be eligible to receive benefits under Workers’ Compensation. Enrollment in the program is automatic and there is no cost for employees to participate.
What to Do if You Experience a Work-Related Injury or Illness
If the injury is life-threatening or limb-threatening, proceed immediately to the emergency department at Winchester Medical Center or Warren Memorial Hospital and after report it to the Company Nurse.
If a simple injury occurs, report the incident immediately to your supervisor and report the incident by calling the Company Nurse at 1-888-770-0925, use code V278B. You will be asked to provide information regarding how and when the accident occurred.

If further medical treatment is necessary, seek medical treatment only from a physician on the approved provider list below. Treatment rendered by a provider not on the list could jeopardize your benefits.
