CollegeBoard Advanced Placement courses are considered to be college level courses and students should expect 1 or 2 hours of home study per day for every hour spent in class. Successful completion of the course will prepare students for the AP exam in the corresponding subject. For many students, there is an adjustment period at the beginning of the course. However, most students adapt to the rigor and learn to perform at a satisfactory level or above.
