Blue Ridge Hospice is proud to share news of their new young adult and teen groups beginning in January, with this flyer. This is a very unique model of processing grief and sharing the commonality of loss through therapeutically-applied tabletop role-playing games. TTRPGs have really increased in popularity in recent years and our counselors and music therapists have had a lot of training in using them therapeutically. The teen group (ages 13-17) will take place monthly on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:30 pm. The young adult group (ages 18-24) will take place monthly on the fourth Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:30 pm. There is no cost associated with the groups and dinner will be provided. If you know students who have lost a loved one and may benefit from this group, please pass this information along.
