    Senior Checklist - Applying for College

    • Identify the colleges to which you want to apply and create a list of important deadlines and criteria for the applications. Make sure you are applying for the Fall 2024 school year.
    • If you need a recommendation for the application, please email your counselor. Counselors are broken down by a Student's last name:  
    • Please allow at least 2 weeks for your recommendation letter.

    Virginia Commonwealth University's Multilingual Ambassador Program created the MAPYouTubeChannel which houses resources for families about college, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and more. 

    Transcripts - Order your transcript from JHHS electronically through Parchment. For college or university transcript request, please order your transcript at least 2 weeks before your deadline.
