Mike Birchenough is a lifelong resident of the Winchester/Frederick County area and a firm believer in the value of a public education. 

 

Mr. Birchenough understands it takes a community approach to raise children and young adults and that our teachers, administrators, coaches, and support staff are a critical investment in the future returns of our community. 

 

A James Wood High School graduate, Mike holds a B.A. in English from West Virginia University, is an Executive Officer at FEMA, and is married with school-aged children.
