Laura Hodgin is the 4th grade multi-classroom leader at Virginia Avenue Charlotte DeHart Elementary School..  She has taught a variety of subjects, including Math, English/Language Arts, American History, World Area Studies, Geography, Science, and Civics to elementary and middle school students in Virginia, North Carolina, and Nevada for 37 years.  She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Elon University graduating with a degrees in Elementary and Middle Grades Education.  She earned her Masters Degree in Education with a concentration in Social Studies from North Carolina Central University. She earned her Gifted License from Shenandoah University.
