I am a native Michiganian, naturalized Virginian with living experiences in South Korea and China and travel experiences in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Canada.

I have 30 years of experience teaching English learners at the adult, secondary, and elementary levels overseas and in the US, including 19 years at Virginia Avenue Charlotte DeHart Elementary School.
