Bicycle Club

Location: Room 2316Within a bicycling community, students engage in athleticism, skills of safety, and maintenance responsibility. While meeting, students, riding their own bicycle or a school-provided bicycle, will ride supervised routes, experiencing unique traits of the many genres of bicycling, such as cyclocross, road, and mountain biking. Students will train for one or more opportunities to compete locally against others in their age group and skill level.

Location: Room 1105Conservatives Club concerns itself mainly with service to the school and community. The club offers a venue for students of any political affiliation to come and share their point of view on the political landscape and have a positive and productive discussion.

Location: Room 2205This club is open to any student who has participated in the fall musical. It runs from November to May. Members of the club are invited to attend open dress rehearsals of various local theatrical performances. During the Spring semester members participate in various activities such as reader's theater, small performances, community outreach and possible service projects.

Location: Room 2401German Club celebrates German-speaking cultures in Winchester and around the world. Being involved means having the chance to engage with guest speakers, cultural outings, restaurant trips, film showings, trivia nights, and "Jump Into German" which allows JHHS volunteers to teach German language and culture to local elementary and middle students. Membership is open to all members of the WPS community and there are no dues. Anyone can join! You don’t have to speak Deutsch or be enrolled in German class.

Location: Room 2364 and Room 2365The mission of HOSA, Health Occupation Students of America, is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality healthcare by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science education students, therefore, helping the student meet the needs of the healthcare community.
The purpose of the HOSA organization is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program.

TSA fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. TSA students also are the base group for the Widget Cup Team. To enroll in TSA a student needs to have an interest in technology or be enrolled in a CTE course.

Handley YDSA is a student-led club that aims to provide a place and a means to discuss socialism, practice activism, and allow students to engage with the political landscape in a meaningful way. By increasing awareness and fostering honest conversation between those of all political ideologies, YDSA intends to give students a place to talk about the intersections between history and culture, as well as explore how politics and power structures affect all of us.

Location: Room 1124The Young Democrats of America is the largest youth-led, partisan political organization in the nation. The goal is to motivate young people to participate in the electoral process to elect Democrats, influence the ideals of the Democratic Party, advocate for progressive issues, and train the next generation of progressive leaders. Our programs engage Young Democrats through their local high-school chapters, through state and regional programming, and nationally, as well as through issue advocacy, and academies.
