Hello everyone!

My name is Alex Merino, your ESOL teacher all the way from Colombia.

With a master's degree in English Language Teaching, I'm excited to share my love for the language and help you unlock new possibilities. I speak Spanish, English and French. I came here not just to teach, but to challenge myself, just like many of you are doing as you learn English and others are new in the country. I totally get what it feels like to be in your shoes, navigating a new language and making it your own. 

When I'm not in the classroom, you may find me exploring nature, enjoying long walks, and capturing the beauty of landscapes with my camera. I'm not a professional, but I love trying to freeze those special moments in time. 

I'm thrilled to be part of this amazing school, and be a great rifleman, just like you are. Let's make this year awesome together.
