I was born and raised in Michigan, and I moved to Virginia in 2014 to start teaching. I have previously taught 10th, 11th, and 7th grade English, but middle school is my favorite age group to work with! 

In my free time, I love to read, nap, and go hiking/exploring with my husband. I'm also a "foodie" who enjoys cooking, entertaining, and discovering new restaurants!
