Hello! I am so happy to be in my 4th year at JKES! This is my 8th year teaching third grade in Virginia and my 15th year in elementary education. I love to integrate creativity and art into many of my lessons as well as using technology to reinforce the learning that is taking place in the classroom. I also enjoy seeing the children working collaboratively on assignments and sharing their learning with their peers. 

Here is just a bit about me... I am mom to 2 adult children, and my Beagle, Snoop Dogg. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, gardening, riding my 4-wheeler in the mountains and spending time at the beach!
