Hello, my name is Miss. Kristen Smith. I will be joining JKES as a first year teacher in the Special Education Department for the 2024-2025 school year. I am a Winchester native and third generation teacher with Winchester Public Schools. I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor in Health/ Physical Education and Kinesiology and am currently working on my Masters in Special Education and a Masters in Reading Literacy. 

I look forward to meeting my class and collaborating with peers in the upcoming year - Go Cardinals!
