Music Education is an integral part of every child's education. Participating in music class promotes the development of focus, confidence, language skills, and academic achievement in other subject areas. Practicing music also builds teamwork, collaboration, communication skills, leadership skills, and creativity.

Music TeacherHello! My name is Mrs. Scott, I am the new music teacher here at JKES. I look forward to continuing the tradition of excellent music education at this school and to teach in my own community. I have previously been an Elementary Music Specialist for Prince William County Schools as well as Loudoun County Public Schools, but I am so excited to be teaching here in Winchester.
