Clubs and Activities at JKES

  • At John Kerr Elementary School we believe that providing students the opportunity to participate in clubs and activities is incredibly important. Joining one or more of our exciting clubs or activities gives students many opportunities including: making new friends, building respect and learning teamwork, gaining self-confidence, relieving stress, learning real-world skills, developing time management skills, and just having fun while you learn!

After school enrichment clubs and activities are held throughout the school year on a seasonal basis, typically one session in the Fall and another session in the Spring.  Enrichment activities will vary.  Previous club offerings have included Sensational Sewing, Mobile Madness, Fitness Team Building, STEAM CSI, Improv!, Conversational Spanish, Cardio Kickball, Minecraft Challenges, Wonderful Weaving, Walking Club, Uke Can Do It!, Puzzles and Games, Lego League Jr., Cheernastics, and many more.

Most clubs require prior registration and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration forms for the Winter/Spring sessions (Feb. 26th-April 11th) are due Feb. 6th.  Clubs fill up fast or may be canceled due to low enrollment, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible.
