Hello all!

My name is Heidi Chilcott and I am excited for another wonderful year at VACDES! This will be my 9th year teaching and my 2nd year here at VACDES teaching first grade! I previously taught Pre-K and I also have experience working as an interventionist and special needs teacher.

A little about me...

I live in West Virginia, and am a wife and mom of 3 girls. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family.  We like to play games, read together, binge watch our favorite shows, sing, and love on our many pets.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and having an exciting 1st grade journey!
