My name is Christie Upshaw and I am excited to once again be teaching Language Arts in Kindergarten this year. I have previously taught preschool, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. I have also worked as an ABA therapist. 

I have worked with children in some capacity my entire life because they are my favorite people. I love how they are open, honest and want to laugh and have fun. I am the same way.

The simple things in life bring me the most pleasure. I can be found at home reading, watching the rain, hanging out with my dog or sitting beside a fire pit.

I am originally from Pennsylvania but have lived, worked and raised my children in this area for the past 25 years so I do consider Winchester my home. I enjoy the local farm markets, parks and restaurants.

I believe in sunshine, laughter and grace-EVERY DAY.
