Hello! My name is Alyssa Estes and this year I will be teaching both Kindergarten and First Grade in our Dual Language program here at Frederick Douglass Elementary. I married my wonderful husband last May! You may still see me referred to by the last name Rosencrance this year as things get switched. I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but love living here in Winchester.

I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education from Slippery Rock University. I am looking forward to another great year. In my free time I love to explore new places and try new restaurants. I love dirt track racing, hockey, and reading. I also enjoy writing and sharing my love of writing with my students. I am so excited to be teaching in this wonderful community.
