I am excited to be returning to Virgnia Avenue Charlotte DeHart Elementary School. I began my teaching career with preschoolers and kindergarteners and am excited to be returning to this special group of "Little Judges." Within Winchester Public Schools, I have taught Gifted Education through the EXCEL enrichment program and then as the third grade ACE teacher. 

I live in Winchester with my husband, three daughters and granddaugher.  I belong to a large extended family of many cousins so most of my time is spent with them on the river or outside enjoying what nature has to offer.  My youngest daughter and I are currently trying to kayak the Shenandoah and Potomac River.  The remainder of my time is spent cooking with my husband, gardening, hiking with my two oldest daughters and reading "The Tickly Octopus" with my granddaughter.
