Ms. McDaniel

I grew up in West Virginia where I earned my undergraduate degree at Shepherd College, my graduate degree at the University of Phoenix, and my Educational Leadership certificate from West Virginia University.

I started my career at an independent school (Country Day School) in Jefferson County, WV, where I taught Jr. K thru 8th grade music from 1999-2002.  From there I moved to Berkeley County, WV.  Before leaving in 2020 I had been the choir director at Musselman Middle School,  taught 3rd grade at Tuscarora Elementary, Potomack Intermediate, and Eagle School Intermediate,  and  finished my last 8 years there as the computer teacher/SYSOP/Technology Integration Specialist at Eagle School Intermediate.  I've been with Winchester Public Schools since 2020 and I am the Instructional Technology Coach for GQES and VACDES.

One of my favorite things to do is perform in live dinner theater shows with Antietam Entertainment in Hagerstown, MD.  We have 2 shows - Century of Song that runs March and April and The Christmas Experience that runs November and December.  In my free time, my boys and I enjoy swimming, kayaking, boating, tubing, kneeboarding, and wakeboarding in the summer.  In the fall and spring you can find us hiking or riding bikes.  In the winter you'll find us on the slopes.
