I grew up in Ohio where I graduated from St. Clairsville High School and enjoyed volleyball, basketball, and tennis.  Following graduation from high school, I attended Wheeling Jesuit University where I loved playing volleyball for all four years. 

I graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education.  I received my masters in Literacy from West Virginia University.  I have been an educator in Virginia since 2004, and I continue to reside in Winchester with my family.
