Clubs & Activities at FDES
-
At Frederick Douglass Elementary School we believe that providing students the opportunity to participate in clubs and activities is incredibly important. Joining one or more of our exciting clubs or activities gives students many opportunities including: making new friends, building respect and learning teamwork, gaining self-confidence, relieving stress, learning real-world skills, developing time management skills, and just having fun while you learn!
After school enrichment clubs and activities are held throughout the school year on a seasonal basis. Enrichment activities will vary. Previous club offerings have included Spanish Club, Noetic Math, Soccer Steps, Builders Club, Book Club, Lego League Jr., Running Club, Wrestling, and many more.
Note: After-school clubs and activities require a signed permission slip and/or prior registration in order to attend and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Some clubs are by invitation only.
