In Winchester Public Schools, we are proud that every student has access to a Chromebook through our Digital Learning Initiative. Now, with a new setting from Google, we can limit student time on Chromebooks to lessen overall screen time for students during the hours they are not in school.

Beginning Monday, February 24, we will start rolling out a new restriction schedule that will prevent students from using their Chromebooks during the following times:

Grades K-6: 9 p.m. - 6 a.m.
Grades 7-8: 11 p.m. - 6 a.m.
Grades 9-12: 2 a.m. - 5 a.m.

This schedule will be in place 7 days per week and may be adjusted based on feedback to ensure student learning is supported.
