Welcome to U.S. History! I have been a teacher for four years and have spent the last two teaching Social Studies in West Virginia. This will be my first year at Daniel Morgan Middle, and I am excited to get started! I am a life-long learner and have a great passion for history. I am so excited to get to share the stories of U.S. History with students!

I have lived in West Virginia my whole life and have a deep love for the mountains. I attended West Virginia Wesleyan College for my undergraduate education and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and minors in English and History. I began my career as a fifth grade teacher but have discovered a love for teaching middle school in the last few years.

In my free time I enjoy reading, exploring museums and the Appalachian mountains, and working with community theater.
