Welcome to Math 8!

My name is Derrick L Watkins and I’m originally from Rome, GA where I finished high school. I’ve lived in Virginia Beach, VA for 32 yrs and recently relocated to PA and now to Winchester, VA to further my teaching career here. I've been teaching Math over 20 yrs and I’ve taught all levels from Middle through High school. I have 3 daughters who are located in Los Angeles, CA (2) and New York City. I will retire from the military service soon with over 24 yrs of combined service in the Navy, Air Force and Army National Guard. My favorite hobbies are songwriting, singing and performing, swimming and exercising, all sports, photography and acting. I am excited to join the DMMS family and serve our kids and community for years to come!
