Hello!  My name is Mrs. Jaclyn Henry, and I am excited to return to the classroom alongside the JKES 2nd grade team.  Although this is my 24th year in education, it will be my first year teaching second grade!!! I have worked with Pre-K through 5th grade, but have dedicated the last 8 years to Early Childhood Special Education. 

My husband and I relocated to Virginia from Connecticut this summer to be closer to our family; daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and grand-puppy. Some of my favorite activities are dancing, taking family walks, baking, and going on long drives through the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. My favorite color is green (sage) and my favorite animal is a rabbit.  I was a Dutch rabbit mommy for many years.

I am looking forward to meeting our Kerr students, learning about their cultures and family traditions, and welcoming their families into mine!
