Hello! My name is Mrs. Cornish, and I am a 7th grade ESOL/English teacher. This will be my 16th year teaching overall, and my 9th year teaching at Daniel Morgan. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communications from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI, and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Western New Mexico University in Gallup, NM. I began my teaching career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi, Africa, where I lived and worked for two years. Since then, I have traveled all over the country and enjoyed spending lots of time with family and friends. When I am not working, I love to hang out with my husband, Eric, who is also a teacher, and our children, Iris and Walter. My hobbies include hiking, running, cooking, reading, and writing.
