At John Kerr Elementary School we believe that providing students the opportunity to participate in clubs and activities is incredibly important. Joining one or more of our exciting clubs or activities gives students many opportunities including: making new friends, building respect and learning teamwork, gaining self-confidence, relieving stress, learning real-world skills, developing time management skills, and just having fun while you learn!

After school enrichment clubs and activities are held throughout the school year on a seasonal basis, typically one session in the Fall and another session in the Spring.  Enrichment activities will vary.  Previous club offerings have included Sensational Sewing, Mobile Madness, Cardio Kickball, Wonderful Weaving, Cheernastics, and many more.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run meets after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4:30PM through November 14th.  Participants will need to bring sneakers, water bottles, and a change of clothes.  Transportation is not provided. The Girls on the Run Shenandoah Valley Fall 5K Run will be held Sunday, November 17th.  For more information please contact Ms. Doering.
