What is Google Workspace for Education?
Google Workspace for Education is an integrated communication and collaboration solution, hosted by Google and managed by WPS. The platform offers a full suite of free productivity tools to help students and teachers interact seamlessly and securely across devices.  Google Workspace will provide the ability for students, faculty and staff to communicate and collaborate, store files, explore, learn and create in real time from school, work, or home, all within a secure online environment.

How will it be used?
Google Workspace provides a full suite of educational tools.  It provides the ability for students and teachers to store files and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in real time from school or home within a “closed campus” online environment.  Google Classroom streamlines assignments, boosts collaboration, and fosters seemless communication to help make teaching more productive and provide efficiencies for the students and teachers.  

What can my student/child do with Google Workspace?
Students will have easy access to their documents, spreadsheets, and presentations within Google Docs/Drive.   They will be able to work and collaborate together in Google Classroom.  Students will also have access to a wide range of approved educational apps and extensions from the Google Chrome Store to use on their devices.
