Principal's Message

  • Dear Daniel Morgan Intermediate Families and Friends,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year and the Home of the Daniel Morgan Intermediate School Generals! As we begin this new year, I am filled with great pride and excitement. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to providing a learning environment that fosters a community of learners with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to believe in their potential. At Daniel Morgan Intermediate School, we embody the principle of "Be the best you can be. Do the best you can do, always and everywhere," which is reflected in every aspect of our work.

At DMIS, your student's education and success are at the heart of everything we do. Each day, we strive to provide the best educational experience possible while ensuring your child is safe and cared for. We recognize the profound responsibility we have in making positive impacts on your child's life, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us.

Our commitment to academic excellence is unwavering. Our faculty and staff continuously monitor student progress, collaborate to review data, make instructional adjustments, and share best practices during grade-level planning and Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings. This collaborative approach ensures that we are always working towards the success of our students.

It is my honor and pleasure to serve as Principal at Daniel Morgan Intermediate School. This year, our theme is "Celebrating Excellence." We will focus on recognizing and celebrating moments when our students and staff exemplify their best selves and achieve significant growth. By fostering an environment where excellence is a lived reality, we empower our students to strive for their highest potential and develop into responsible, confident individuals.

Thank you for your commitment to excellence and for being an integral part of our school community. Please feel welcome to contact us at 540-667-7171. I am confident that this year will be filled with remarkable achievements, lasting memories, and the continuous celebration of our collective greatness.

    With pride and anticipation,
