Winchester Public School's EMPOWER 2025 Strategic Plan includes a goal that the GQES School Counseling department would implement the American School Counselor Association standards, including becoming a Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP). At GQES we are striving to do just that by the year 2025. We are committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-informed school counseling program that meets the needs of ALL students. We use the four parts of the ASCA model diamond (shown below) to help ensure we offer a school counseling program that is based on data-informed decision making, closes achievement and opportunity gaps, and results in improved student achievement (grades), attendance, and discipline.
