I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Health and Physical Education at Cameron University in Lawton, OK. I returned to school after staying home to raise my boys. I earned my Master's in Elementary Education from Shenandoah in 2010. I was hired at GQES in 2011 as a fourth grade teacher. I taught fourth grade for 9 years. Although I loved teaching fourth grade, I wanted a new challenge, so I switched to teaching STEM in 2020. I enjoy the challenge of getting the students to collaborate with each other on projects that we do in STEM.
