Assistant Principal's Message

Dear Families,
On behalf of myself and the staff at Frederick Douglas Elementary, I am thrilled to welcome you back to another exciting school year! I am looking forward to connecting with our existing Frederick Douglass families and eagerly anticipate meeting the new faces joining us this year. It is exciting to have students in our classrooms and hallways, filling them with energy, fun and enthusiasm for learning.
Frederick Douglass is without a doubt, a place where the entire staff prides itself in partnering with parents and students to provide a safe, nurturing and child centered environment; we are truly a family here at FDES. We hold the highest standards for all students and work tirelessly to create a positive learning environment where all students can succeed. Our Dual Language program prepares students to be global life-long learners academically, socially and personally. We strive to help every child feel welcomed, connected and cared about.
It is my sincere pleasure and honor to serve and be a part of the Frederick Douglas family. We look forward to this school year as you and your child become a part of the amazing "Growing Global Leaders" community.
