Our state recognized preschool program serves our families who are between 100% and 200% of the federal poverty level by providing a full day, high quality preschool program for four year olds. Our preschool program is a strategy that is in direct alignment to research that suggests that achievement gaps are due primarily to differences that occur before third grade.

Through three years of implementation, student achievement is undeniable as our students continue to outscore the state averages in reading, math and social emotional indicators.

Most importantly, our preschool students are "ready for kindergarten" and are set up for success as they enter elementary school. These students are now thriving in elementary school school, with more than 90% of our preschool students staying with Wincehster Public Schools.
