FDES Virtual Learning Schedule for Inclement Weather Days

snowy nature scene

In the event of school cancelation due to inclement weather (otherwise known as a Snow Day), school will be held virtually.  Students will follow the Virtual Learning Day schedule.

Students in K, 1st, and 2nd will have paper/pencil packets that will be sent home prior to a Snow Day.  K-2nd should work on these packets on a Virtual Snow Day and turn in the completed packet to their teacher when they return to school.

All 3rd-4th grade students will have 30-60 minutes of live synchronous learning using Google Meet.  Google Meet links will be posted by teachers in Canvas.  Students will click on the Google Meet icon in Canvas or the posted Google Meet link.  Students will also have asynchronous learning assignments to complete on Virtual Learning Days.  Assignments will be posted in Canvas.
