DMIS Chromebook Information

Attention - All rising 5th and 6th-grade students at Daniel Morgan Intermediate School, please review the following information for details on the collection and distribution process.


DMIS Rising 5th and 6th Grade Chromebook Collection & Distribution

  • Rising 5th graders - August 13 from 12pm-6pm game entrance (back of building)
  • Rising 6th graders - August 18 from 3pm-6pm game entrance (back of building)

-Rising 5th-grade students will need to bring the Chromebook, case, and charger that is checked out to them to be turned in. Each student turning in a device will then be assigned a new Chromebook for this year.

-Rising 6th-grade students who do not currently have a device should come on August 18 to receive a device for the 2020-2021 school year.

-This applies to all students, regardless of whether they registered for WPS Connections 100% distance learning or the 50/40 hybrid option.

-Students missing any items (Chromebook, charger, or case) will need to come prepared to pay for the missing item(s) before they will be issued a new device. Checks are preferred and can be made out to Daniel Morgan. The replacement costs for missing items are below. Any family who is missing items and is unable to pay for the replacement may request a waiver from the school principal.

Replacement costs:
Chromebook: $200.00
Charger: $25.00
Case: 20.00

-If families are unable to exchange the Chromebook on the designated date, we will make arrangements for another date in the future.
