In the near future fans will be able to watch Handley athletics live via a new streaming service thanks to a recent partnership with the NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) that provided two new Pixellot automated live broadcast camera systems.
The Pixellot systems have been installed in the Madddox-Omps gymnasium pressbox and the Handley Bowl pressbox at the James R. Wilkins Jr. Stadium.
As part of the partnership the NFHS Network will offer streaming service for fans to live stream events held in these locations with an option to purchase a monthly or annual subscription. Fans will be able to watch the action live from the comfort of their homes or while on the go. The streaming service works with any web browser as well as mobile devices like iPhones and Androids and smart TV platforms like Apple TVs, Roku, FireTV, etc. The live streams are not limited to athletic events, the service will be able to stream other events in the gym or the Handley Bowl, including functions such as graduation. The network charges $10.99 a month or a full-year for $69.99 to view all athletic events and activities from all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
John Handley High School will be releasing information soon on when the live streaming service will begin and how fans will be able to access the service.
