Kindergarten Readiness Program & Computer / Rising Kindergarteners / Kicks off June 6 (register ASAP) - The Summer Learning Path program sends families a computer and software that allows rising Kindergarteners to complete 20 minutes of activities each day to be ready for Kindergarten. Families keep computers upon successful completion of the program. Enroll ASAP using the information on the flyer below.
Project Connect / All Ages / June 10 - Project Connect is a one-stop resource fair with over 50 service providers under the same roof. Includes Kindergarten registration, school physicals, free dental services, haircuts, head start registration, and more! Friday, 6/10 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Virginia Avenue Charlotte DeHart Elementary School. Pre-register at www.unitedwaynsv.org.
Bright Futures Summer Food Pack Program / All Ages / Throughout Summer - Distribution of summer food packs will be one time per month for a total of three months per location (June/July/August). Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. See attached flyer for more details.
Opportunity Scholars Career Camp / Middle and High School / July 22 - Students learn how they can get the local education & training they need to land a great job right here in our community. Friday, 7/22 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on SU campus. Register using the QR code on the attached flyer.
