GQES Author Visit:
Award winning author Author Minh Lê visited students at GQES. He is the author of Drawn Together, which was the winner of the 2019 Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature and illustrated by Caldecott Medalist Dan Santat. In addition to writing books, Minh Lê has written for a variety of publications, including the New York Times, The Horn Book, NPR, and HuffPost.

Drawn Together was included in this year’s March Book Madness. All students at GQES read the books in their classrooms and will receive a signed copy of the book.
